Saturday Sept. 4th Eat 2 the Beat on the FAll River Waterfront in front of the Waterstreet Cafe.

Handcrafted polymer clay jewelry has been my passion since I founded Annie's Artifax  in 1998 more as a means of relieving stress than the possibility of a post teaching career.  The colorful, light weight polymer clay jewelry creations were made in my home studio and sold at craft shows throughout the area.  Turquoise has always been a favorite color of mine and is incorporated into many of my pieces.  As more and more people complimented my jewelry, I began to think about other ways of offering my handmade pieces.  Within two weeks of my retirement after 35 years of teaching at BMC Durfee High School in Fall River, MA, in June of 2008, a studio became available at the Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River.  I signed the rental agreement and have been creating my art in a true studio environment as a resident artist in a venue that offers visual as well as performing artists.
