Jewelry Classes

Take a class in PC.

No, that’s not Political Correctness (there’s too much of that already), it’s making jewelry of polymer clay at the University of Anniechusetts. 

Professor Annie’s classes are fun for kids 7 years of age and older or with mom and kids or girl’s day out with sisters, cousins or girlfriends of any age.

Cost of each class is $40 per person and includes all material and you take home whatever you make that day.  Class can be as small as one person but no more than 6 (to allow for individualized instruction).  10% discount for families or groups of 3 or more taking a class together.

The University of Anniechusetts is located in the studio of Annie’s Artifax at the Narrows Center for the Arts 16 Anawan St. 3^rd Floor Fall River, MA. 02721 and can be held on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday from Noon to 5:00PM.  Classes run two to three hours so they can start anytime between 12:00 – 2:00 to allow sufficient time.  Pre-registration is not required but please call a day or two ahead of time to let Annie know you’re coming.

Polymer Clay 101 – is an introductory class where you will learn how to cut and prepare the clay, shape, paint, and bake your piece and attach the cord.

Polymer Clay 102 – is a class where you will learn how to make several different kinds of beads of polymer clay and how to string the beads.  You will also learn how to make earrings from the excess clay.

Polymer Clay 103 – is a class where you will learn how to use mica powders and other techniques for finishing a piece of jewelry.

Graduate School – make another piece of jewelry using the techniques learned in previous classes and receive your degree from the University of Anniechusetts.  Classes must be taken in order (no Graduate School before 101, 102 and 103).
